These drawings are based on the Tokyo Metro lines. 71 dots create a grid that maps the Japanese hirigana alphabet and every station name is spelled out. Another grid of 26 letters is superimposed and the station names are then spelled in English. Spelling mistakes are shown in a contrasting color. Each drawing is 23x31 inches, gouache on Fabriano paper.
